Email Fixed!

If you've sent us an email recently and been waiting for a reply, we're sorry for the delay, but our web server was "attacked" with a malicious email program.

The server (which we share with several other users) apparently received millions of emails over a few hours which, as you can imagine, "jammed the pipes".

Our internet provider was forced to purge all emails - good and bad - and put some new protection in place - thus no emails to the website for a time!

So again, if we haven't responded we're sorry, but we've been assured the problem has been resolved.

With Rueda being all the rage at the moment there'll be a 4 Week Specialty Course on Rueda starting Monday, January 16th, at 8.00pm., at the Balcombe Heights Studio. The Course consists of four (4), 90 minute lessons.

This Course is designed for those Salsa dancers who don't "Rueda" (and want to!), and those Rueda dancers who know the Basics of Rueda and want to add some more exciting moves.

The Course will run through all the Basic moves ( about 20 or so), PLUS some Intermediate/Advanced Moves (15 or so). For more details click >> HERE <<.

Course fees:

For 4 x 90 minute (6 hours) of workshop lessons PLUS printed notes and work sheet-

Dancers new to Rueda - $85.00
Dancers who have completed the Intro to Rueda Course $45.00.

SPECIAL NOTE:

This Course is NOT suitable for new dancers. To register for this Course NO Rueda experience is required, but you MUST be comfortable dancing normal Salsa (on "1" or "2").

Teacher Training Program

The Dance Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) has published the final draft of the Certificate (IV) in Dance, which is the National Qualification for dance teachers.

Before final acceptance, selected member Studios (including The Latin Ballroom) have been asked to conduct Pilot Programs, with a view to confirming the contents before final ratification.

In the very near future, full details will be posted on the website.
