This is a four (4) week Course designed for dancers who would like longer routines, with the opportunity of for dynamic and exciting figures and routines.
Focusing on a single dance style per Course (see details below), dancers have much more time to develop and become comfortable with the moves and routines.
Each dance style is presented as an initial routine, which in itself is visually exciting. As an example, the initial Quickstep Routine would enable you to circle the floor at the Seven Hills Studio about two and a half times.
At different points during the routine there are optional "sub-routines" which can be "plugged in" to enhance your dancing. Each sub-routine offers some dynamic moves designed to make your dancing exciting and visually appealing.
You can choose to master the Initial Routines only, and then only many or as few of the sub-routines as you wish.
STEP requires that you have SOME dance experience.
However, if you and your partner are "starting from scratch", an Intro to Dance class is available (in the dance style of the STEP class you have chosen) for only $40 (individuals OR couple). The Intro to Dance class will provide you with the basics of the dance style and equip you to join STEP. Call for more details.
