Mark Saturday the 20th of June for a great night of music, dancing, food and FUN.
The main auditorium of the Blacktown RSL Club is the venue. This room features a HUGE dance floor - just what we need to get some moves happening!
The live band is "Salsa Kingz", who have a fabulous repetoire of Salsa, Samba, Rumba, Jive Merengue and more!
Each hour the Salsa Kingz will play for 30 minutes, then we'll have a short break and come back with a selection of superb recorded music for Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, New Vogue etc. for 30 minutes. Then back to the live band!
Dress is formal - evening wear. We don't want to call the night a "BALL", as in addition to the classic Ballroom and New Vogue dances the live band will play hot Cha's, Salsa, Sambas etc. So dress is classy and sophisticated, but you'll still need to be able to MOVE!
This night features:
A LIVE band for the Latin dance styles (and some "middle of the road");
A fabulous selection of recorded music for Modern, New Vogue Argentine Tango etc;
A Showcase and Performance from some of our dancers;
A two (2) Course, table service, meal plus tea and coffee etc.;
Some fun activities for everyone;
A full bar with drinks at Club prices.
